Spring Exhibition

We are busy preparing for our Spring Exhibition at the end of this month. We have a superb new venue in the Methodist Chapel on  Grove Street. It will have been newly refurbished and the chapel floods with wonderful light from above. The exhibition will run from to Tuesday 30th April to Saturday  11th May, excluding Sunday. Open from 10.00am to 4.00pm. There is also a morning coffee in the café.

Landscape Art Demo

Painting a landscape is a popular choice, and on Thursday 25th April,  Phil Biggs is to show us how he uses watercolours in a  loose way. The Demonstration will be in the Swan Studio and starts at 7pm. The Swan is at the bottom of Carolgate through the archway and above the bike shop. The cost for members is £5 and non-members is £7.

Life Drawing

Life drawing sessions will be held in the Swan Studio on Wednesdays, April 3rd , April 17th and May 1st from 7pm to 9pm. The cost for members is £5 and non-members is £7.

Art Sessions

The Swan Studio is open as usual for creative painting on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm and Friday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm at no cost.
