After studying art at school I barely touched a paint brush until 5 years ago when I had more time to spare and I discovered what Retford had to offer.  It's as though I'm making up for lost time as I enthusiastically try out different techniques, mediums and styles - a bit like a child at Christmas, half opening one present before grabbing another with great glee!  So I continue to search for 'my style' - who knows, maybe I don't have one.  In the meantime I particularly enjoy using impasto acrylics, creating abstract landscapes and studying life drawing whilst having another go every so often at painting animal fur!
