I took up painting when I retired from teaching some years ago.  What a great hobby, and what rewarding therapy!  I enjoy the different challenges of painting in watercolours, oils, and pen and ink washes.  So far I've worked mainly on landscapes, seascapes and "buildingscapes". The encouragement and ideas from Retford Art Society members and events are a major bonus.  I hope to continue to learn and paint for as long as I can.
