Member's Profile
I joined the Society in
2004 after
retiring from work overseas. I have since enjoyed a wide range of art
activities with Retford Art Society and I am grateful for all the
encouragement
and support I have received from many members.
As well as developing my
skills with
traditional media, I have also been investigating the possibilities of
digital
medium displays. As a scientist by profession, I have always found
beauty in
many aspects of Science including the mathematical representation of
phenomena;
I am currently developing programs based upon chaos theory and strange
attractors to produce both moving and stationery digital displays which
I hope
to exhibit in the near future.
I have been the Chairman of the Society since 2005. It is a thriving and welcoming group; therefore, if you live in the Retford area and are interested in art, please come to one of our events and see if the Retford Art Society is for you.
