40th Anniversary Year - 2008
2008 was a landmark year for the Retford Art Society as it celebrated it's 40th year with a series of special events. A trip through this archive will take you from the Christmas Tree exhibition of 2007 and into this busy year in the life of the society. The celebrations commenced in may with a special evening at Retford Little Theatre with professional artist David Curtis and finished with a special anniversary ball at Ye Olde Bell Hotel in October. Sandwiched between these two occasions were the annual summer exhibition and the societies involvement in the inaugural Bassetlaw ArtFest day in July.©2009 Retford Art Society
