The 40th Annual Retford Art Society Exhibition was a great success and a big thank you goes to all members who helped with the setting up and stewarding duties. The next exhibition will take place next May.October saw the society celebrate its 40th anniversary in style with a special evening at The Olde Bell Hotel at Barnby Moor. The evening was marvellous and pictures of the festivities can be seen by following the link above.!
November's monthly meeting will take place at 7pm on Thursday 27th at The Retford Post-16 Centre and will feature a talk and demonstration by Bob Ebdon on the skills required to produce works of art using coloured pencils. Both members and non-memebers are, of course, welcome.
