Founded in 1968, the Retford Art Society is one of the longest established art societies in Nottinghamshire, and has amongst its members many talented amateur artists. The objectives of the society are to promote fellowship between members and to develop, encourage and provide facilities for the persuance of Art in any form, medium or style by demonstrations, discussions and practical occasions.
